Working with us

To achieve a successful financial journey, it’s important to have an advisor on your side who can help you along the way. Your dedicated advisor will get to know you, understand how you see your future, and identify clear steps to help you plan for it on your terms.

Your first meeting with an advisor

The path to financial confidence starts with your initial consultation with a financial advisor. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions, talk informally about your goals and dreams and get to know the advisor.  After your initial consultation, you‘ll know the value a financial advisor can provide, the fees you may pay if you decide to work together and next steps.

Preparing for your initial consultationWhile every conversation is different, you can expect to cover some general information and get a sense of what it’s like to collaborate with your advisor. To help prepare for this meeting, you should have a basic idea of your current financial picture and financial goals. How are things now? Do you have any concerns? What do you hope to accomplish in the next few years and longer term?

Questions to think about in advance of the meeting

If you haven’t already, think about the priorities you have for your financial future. Come prepared to answer these questions:

  • What’s exciting?
  • What worries you when you think about finances?
  • Was there a recent event that caused you to consider seeking advice?
  • Are you saving for a child’s or grandchild’s education?
  • Are you getting the personal attention you need from your advisor?
  • Are you considering purchasing a new home?
  • What would you like to do when you retire?
  • How can you plan now to ensure your legacy is the one you envision?
